Just surfacing these issues in Zulip:

• roc test stack-overflows on top-level expect calling List.sort_with #9388
• SIGSEGV when calling a non-existent method #9389
  • Fixed with #9394 :octopus:
• var initialized from list.len() returns a corrupt value with polymorphic List(a) #9390
• TYPE MISMATCH when float literal is method receiver and argument is F64 #9391
• Non-deterministic test results across consecutive roc test runs of unchanged source #9392
• roc test hangs on >= between a numeric list element and another value #9393
• Hang on List.all / List.any via static dispatch ([list].all(...)) #9395
• Stack overflow on undefined identifier inside type-module method body #9396

thanks for all of these! I have a gigantic MIR overhaul in progress right now and I'll incorporate these into it :smiley:

I'm very keen to try Roc a bit more once that lands! Is the MIR overhaul the current major work/blocker? I had some issues a while back but didn't know how much would be affected by these big changes so put it on the back-burner for now. It's a problem because I find myself thinking through and wanting to tackle problems in Roc and not much else :smile:

yeah that's the major blocker right now. I'm hoping to have it done soon, but I thought that 2 weeks ago, so I'm learning not to make promises on this one :laughing:
