Topic: Clarify difference between #show-and-tell and #announcements

Is there a difference between these two now? I think in the past #announcements was used for Roc compiler announcements and #show-and-tell was used for announcing other things like packages, but now those announcements are in both channels. Should we combine the channels?

I think we should keep the distinction between the two and only use #announcements for language related announcements. As it feels more official than #show and tell. As Roc community grows the distinction becomes important imho.

only use announcements for language related announcements

Perhaps for language announcements and updates to platforms and packages under the roc-lang organization?

Is there some way to see what the channels are for? like a description or something
