You can have the platform produce a library instead of an executable, and then use Zig or something else to do the linking.

I find it's a lot simpler than the original template. A lot better if you plan on having a fully custom platform in zig imo.

For quite a while a lot of our early platforms were shaped this way. But we've been focused more on the ideal end user experience and working through any issues that brings up.
